Bishop Mark J. Seitz to Ordain a New Priest and Deacon
The Most Rev. Mark J. Seitz will ordain Deacon Rev. Alfonso Coronado to the Order of the Priesthood and Seminarian Loyd Divinagracia to the Order of the Diaconate this Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Patrick Cathedral. The Mass of celebration to The Rites of Ordination will begin at 6:30pm MST.
The Diocese of El Paso will also simulcast the entire Ordination Mass on the Diocesan website and the Diocesan Facebook page live from St. Patrick Cathedral.

Rev. Alfonso Coronado
Rev. Alfonso Coronado, who is currently assigned to Our Lady of Peace in Alpine, began his minor seminary formation at the Seminary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Chihuahua, Mexico at the age of seventeen. Sanchez then made his way to the Diocese of El Paso. Since his arrival, he has served at various parishes and is a UTEP Alumni. Coronado graduated with his master’s in theology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and attended St. Mary's Seminary in Houston, TX..
Seminarian Loyd Divagracia
Loyd Divinagracia finished his Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Theology at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, and holds two Bachelor of Arts Majors. Divinagracia also completed his Master's in Pastoral Ministry at Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX.
