The agency provides two programs. The services are available to anyone regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, income, age, gender, or sexual orientation. The Programs are: Professional Counseling Services to Parish Ministries The Counseling Program provides individual, marital, and family psychotherapy to anyone experiencing difficulties with aspects of daily living. The agency does not have a psychiatrist or a psychologist on staff, therefore does not provide psychologial testing and psychiatric services. The counseling services are bilingual (English/Spanish) and the fees are based on a sliding scale. Services are offered to adults, teenagers, and children. The psychotherapists are licensed master's level clinical Social Workers. In some cases the medical insurance or Medicaid/Medicare can pay for the services. The counseling sessions are set by appointment only Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Due to the demand for this service, we are open until 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesday we have appointments from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Catholic Counseling Services also provides services to the parish ministries. This includes presentations on a number of mental health related topics such as suicide, domestic violence, child abuse, chemical dependency, grieving, and parent education. The fee for this service to a parish ministry is $60 per hour.
