The parish Celebrated the first Holy Sacrifice of the mass on July 10, 1986 it was a Sunday, Bishop Raymundo Peña declared it to be a parish. This community grew from 400 to 2,500 families, with a regular attendance of 700 families. The first pastor was Fr. Stephen Peters.
