Mission Ysleta was established in 1680. This mission was completed in 1692, the Spanish named the new structure Mision de Corpus Christi de Ysleta del Sur. Also known as Mision de San Antonio, in honor of the patron saint of the Tigua indians. In 1740, the Rio Grande waters washed it away Settlers began construction of the new structure in 1744

Infant Baptism:
Talks Required for parents and godparents. Offered in our parish the 3rd week every month-Parish Office. Begin Saturday 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and continue Sunday 9:00 a.m. -12:00 noon. Plan to attend prior to child's birth.
Baptisms celebrated in Main Church on 1st Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in English except Lent & Easter. During Easter baptisms are celebrated during our Sunday Mass and 3rd Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in spanish. There are NO Baptisms during Lent.
Marriage:
Arranged with the priest at least six months prior to date.
Quinceañeras:
Celebrated for parishioners in the Confirmation Program. as a culmination of the 1st year formation on or near March 25th
