Formerly Sacred Heart church, celebrated mass in the school auditorium for many years. In 1972 parishioners got together and started building a new church at their own expense. The small adobe church was finished and dedicated in 1974. It was destroyed by a tornado in 1987 that killed about 37 people. Parish was rebuilt in 1988. this parish has 100 parishioners
